中共中央政法委书记孟建柱10月31号声称,日前在北京发生的汽车冲撞天安门事件,与名为“东突厥斯坦伊斯兰运动”的恐怖组织有关。中共曾表示“东突伊斯兰运动”的成员,在巴基斯坦和部分中亚国家活动,并将发生在新疆地区的暴力事件,一律与这个组织联系在一起。

据《自由亚洲电台》报导,澳门军事专家黄东表示,“东突伊斯兰运动”组织一般在犯案后会承认责任,目前车撞天安门事件已发生5天,他们仍未表态,不是这个组织的作风。

不过,《德国之声》的报导却说,有安全专家质疑“东突伊斯兰运动”组织是否真实存在。

日媒:习仲勋墓地已成“上访村”

日本《产经新闻》11月1号报导,中共党魁习近平的父亲习仲勋的墓地,已经变成了“上访村”。

报导说,在中共高调纪念习仲勋时,中国社会流传习近平的母亲齐心,今年会到习仲勋位于陕西省富平县的墓地去扫墓。来自湖南、辽宁、广东等各省的上访者们,于是守候在习仲勋墓前,准备下跪陈情,其中有人已等了几个月。

这些上访多年、投诉无门的访民对《产经新闻》记者表示,他们知道,在那里等其实也没希望。

西方外交官探访倪玉兰 遭阻拦

11月1号中午,瑞典、瑞士和澳大利亚驻北京的外交官,登门看望了不久前出狱的大陆知名维权人士倪玉兰。

据《美国之音》报导,倪玉兰表示,这些外交人员进门前,曾遭到一些便衣警察的阻挠和骚扰。

倪玉兰说,她的房东在这些外交人员到访前夕,突然提出要收回借给她家暂住的房屋,当天上午要求他们搬家。

倪玉兰的丈夫董继勤表示,当天试图阻拦西方外交官探望倪玉兰的便衣人员当中,有厂桥派出所的田姓警官,其余都是陌生面孔。他表示,那些便衣人员当时在拍摄录像,但是在他用手机给他们拍照时,全都极力闪避。

倪玉兰曾在北京正义律师事务所担任律师,因维权和揭露“奥运工程”违法强拆民宅,被警察殴打致残,无法行走。后来又多次被判刑入狱。

China Claims Islamists Are Behind Tiananmen Incident

On October 31, Meng Jianzhu, Secretary of Central
Politics and Legal Affairs Commission (PLAC)
commented on the Tiananmen car crash incident.

Meng suggested it was connected with the terrorist
group named East Turkistan Islamic Movement (ETIM).
China has claimed in the past that members of
ETIM were active in Pakistan and mid-Asia regions.
It has also claimed that ETIM is
behind Xinjiang regional violence.

Radio Free Asia cited Huang Dong,
an Australia-based military expert.
ETIM normally admits responsibility after it’s activities.

It has now been five days since the Tiananmen crash,
and they haven’t said anything, which is not ETIM’s style.

Deutsche Welle said that security experts
questioned whether ETIM exists or not.

Xi Zhongxun Cemetery Turned to Temporary Petitioner Settlement

On November 1, Japan’s Sankei Shimbun reported
that the grave of Xi Jinping’s father Xi Zhongxun’s
has become a temporary settlement for petitioners.

The report discussed the recent Chinese
Communist Party commemorations of Xi Zhongxun.
It was rumored that Xi Jinping’s mother Qi Xin would visit
her husband’s grave in Fuping County, Shanxi Province.
Petitioners from Hunan, Liaoning and Guangdong went
there to wait for Qi, in order to tell her of their mistreatment.
Some petitioners have encamped there for several months.

The petitioners told Sankei Shimbun’s reporter that
they knew there was even no hope from waiting there.

Chinese Police Harass Western Diplomats Visiting Activist Ni Yulan

On November 1, Swedish, Swiss and Australian
diplomats in Beijing visited activist Ni Yulan.
Ni Yulan was recently released from jail.

Voice of America quote Ni saying that before
the diplomats entered her home, plainclothes
police stopped them and harassed them.

Ni said that prior to the diplomats arrival,
her landlord wanted to take the house back.
She was requested to move out that morning.

Ni’s husband Dong Jiqin commented on the plainclothes
police who prevented the diplomats from entering the house.
A police officer named Tian had come from
Changqiao Police Station, and the rest were new faces.
The plainclothes police were video
recording what was happening.
However, when Dong used a mobile
phone to record them, they tried to avoid him.

Ni worked as a lawyer in a Beijing law firm,
taking on human rights cases, and exposing the
illegality of forced demolitions during the Olympics.

Ni was beaten by police, who left her unable to walk.
Subsequently, she was put into prison several times.
