Rights Situation in Two Decades

On Feb.16, Civil Rights and Livelihood Watch (msguancha)
released the 2014 Year-end Report on the Chinese
Communist Party (CCP) Stability Maintenance Policy and
Human Rights Condition.
The report said, the CCP still regards all Chinese civilians’
efforts in improving social order as “unstable factors" that
threaten the regime, and so it continues to suppress
such efforts in all aspects.
The CCP violently abducted many human rights lawyers,
scholars, journalists and other dissidents all over the state.
About 2270 individuals were under surveillance for
“stability control" in the past year.
China’s human rights condition has seen the worst
regression in the past 20 years.

The report concluded that, China is entering a tightened
“safety maintenance" era.

Previously it was a “stability maintenance" one.

The incident occurred after the workers failed to get back
