【新唐人北京時間2020年03月27日訊】3月27日，英國首相約翰遜在推特宣布，自己出現輕度癥狀，中共病毒（武漢肺炎）檢測確診陽性。
他說，自己正在自我隔離，但將繼續通過視頻會議領導政府抗擊病毒。他並繼續呼籲國民「留在家中，挽救生命」。

55歲的約翰遜26日傍晚並未出席疫情例行記者會，但當天晚間8時有一場「為醫護鼓掌」（Clap for Carers）活動，替努力救治中共肺炎病患的英國國家醫療保健服務人員加油打氣，約翰遜有參與活動。但他在走到唐寧街10號門口時，和鄰居蘇納克保持一段距離一同鼓掌。
