Communist media mentions Wen Jiabao amidst the chaos.
The Chinese Internet is spreading a new ideology of
“seven forbidden topics” and the “new three anti-campaign.”
Along with interpretation of constitution and China dream,
they are widely debated on the Internet.
This intensified on-line fight between the rightists and the
leftists, mimics the debate during the Cultural Revolution.
An article titled, “P”remier Wen Jiabao is close by” on the 14th
by the state media, drawing much speculation.
Wen Jiabao warned before he left the office, “Without
political reform, the Cultural Revolution is likely to reoccur.”
The following is our analysis.
Since May, a new ideology of “seven forbidden topics” and
“new three anti-campaign” has been widely distributed on the Chinese Internet.
An article number 9 from the Propaganda Department
confirmed the order from the regime.
Suddenly, all the hustle and bustle on the Internet is
taking place like a new wave of Cultural Revolution.
Subsequently, articles criticizing the constitution swarmed
state media, causing backlash amongst the general public and serious debate of constitution on the Internet.
Xi Jinping’s China Dream, believed to balance left and right,
was thought to signal serious divisions and conflicts in the regime
China is suddenly in a chaotic political ideology fight from
Zhongnanhai to the general public.
Epoch Weekly was told by a source from Zhongnanhai that
the Communist regime is facing both the international crisis and the internal economical problems.
Xi Jinping is obviously challenged, on top of the elevated
division between the leftists and the rightists within the regime.
Commentator Sima Tai does not believe there is any way out
within the Communist system.
Xi Jinping can not escape this, but only become more
& more passive within their system.
Commentator Sima Tai:
“The economic development has come to an end.
Intellectually, Xi is limited in conducting any sort
of political reform.
Within the Communist regime, political reform is impossible.
He is also restricted by Jiang Zemin and Zhou Yongkang.
He has no way out."
June 14, the regimes mouthpiece People’s Daily, issued
an article talking about former Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.
The timing and title of this article has caused
much speculation.
An overseas media analyzed the title, “Premier Wen Jiabao is
close by," implies two meanings.
First, Hu and Wen remain in power and have a
significant impact up on the regime.
Second, at any critical point this major political faction
will exert its political stance.
Commentator Ren Baiming: “Xi has just taken over office
and is facing challenges from the leftists.
He is facing the hatred from the Jiang faction triggered
by the former Railways Minister Liu Zhijun’s trial.
The upcoming Bo Xilai’s trial will be another major melee.
This article is setting up a tone to back up
Xi and Li prior to the battle."
However, how much Hu and Wen will engage
in this fracas, is yet to be seen.
The article has clearly pointed out the public and extended
ideological conflict within the regime.
Any delay will lead to further danger.
It is of imminent urgency to proceed with Bo’s trial
in a public manner.
In addition, it is said that Xi Jinping mentioned democracy
in a recent talk and admitted that it concerns the life and death of the Communist Party.
Both the Party and himself are facing much
resistance and pressure.
The new wave of ideology debate was analyzed to be a new tactic
of Xi Jinping under the intensified split in Zhongnanhai.
Commentator Xia Xiaoqiang indicates that in reality
and through the Chinese Communist Party’s history,
any move from the Communist leadership to resolve
this crisis, would only lead to another political movement,
major disaster to the nation, another subsequent major
crisis, but never success.
