涉资金80亿学院倒闭 万人围堵省政府

2月10号,陕西省西安市近万民众,聚集到省政府门前,抗议政府扶持的民办院校“西安联合学院”倒闭。民众拉起了巨大的横幅维权,导致交通陷入瘫痪,当局出动大批武警、特警到场戒备。

据了解,“西安联合学院”以助学办校为名,融资近10年,涉及资金近80亿,2月初,学校突然人去楼空,十几万人一生的血汗钱为泡影。

多地银行买断工龄人士维权

年关将至,大陆多地银行买断工龄的人士,因生活困难,到原来所属银行拉横幅抗议。2月10号,湖南工商银行20多人在省工行前拉横幅,同一天,湖北也有多位银行买断工龄的人在北京维权,被抓到马家楼关押。内蒙的数十位银行买断工龄人士,最近两天也都在内蒙工商分行总部拉横幅维权。

河北各县3百警聚省政府驱赶访民

河北省信访局周边,2月10号下午,也有许多访民上访,当地政府从各县调来3、400名警察,驱赶访民。

访民维权被关精神病院家人被迫害致精神病

大陆“民生观察网”2月10号报导,四川广汉市南丰镇元盛村幼儿教师徐万桂,1997年办幼儿园,遭当地管理部门刁难,损失近百万,徐万桂要求镇政府承担违约责任,不获理睬,她开始上访维权。10多年中,她数次被关进精神病院,她的丈夫李自福,也屡遭政府威胁,不敢回乡,在北京靠捡拾破烂为生,导致精神失常,2012年登高摔死。

Tens of Thousands of People Block Provincial Government
Regarding The Shut Down of an Institution

On Feb. 10, tens of thousands of people protested
the private institution Xi’an United University’s closure
at the front of the provincial government.

The huge banner held up by defenders
caused a traffic standstill.
The authorities deployed a large number of armed police,
special police guard to be on alert.

It is said Xi’an United University financed for nearly 10 years
in the name of assisting students.
8 billion RMB was involved.

In early February, the school is suddenly empty;
Hundreds of thousands of people’s hard-earned life savings
amounted to nothing.

Senior Bank Buyout Personnel Petition in Several Places

With the New Year approaching, many mainland seniority
buyout staff held up banners in front of banks protesting
their difficult life.

On Feb. 10, more than 20 senior buyout defenders held up
a banner at the front of the Industrial and Commercial Bank
in Hunan Province; several senior buyout people from Hubei
petitioned in Beijing and were detained in Majia building.
In Inner Mongolia, dozens of senior buyout personnel
petitioned at Inner Mongolia Trade and Industry Branch
headquarters by pulling up banners these two days.

Three Hundred Police Gathered at Provincial Government
to Drive Petitioners in all Counties in Hebei

On the afternoon of Feb. 10, the local government transferred
300 to 400 police from each county to drive out petitioners
surrounding the Hebei Complaints Bureau.

Petitioners were Locked in a Mental Hospital Because Petitioning
Family Members were Persecuted in the Mental Hospital

On Feb. 10, mainland website Civil Rights and Livelihood
Watch reported that Sichuan province Yuansheng village
kindergarten teacher Xu Wangui lost nearly one million
RMB due to the deliberate obstruction by local government
since she began running a kindergarten in 1997.

She requested the town government to bear responsibility
for the breach of contract but was refused.
She began a petition.

Within 10 years, she was sent to a mental hospital
several times;
Her husband Li Zifu dared not return home due to
repeated breakdown-inducing threats from government.
Li Zifu made a living collecting trash in Beijing
before he developed a mental disorder.
In 2012, he jumped to his death.
