Is the Standing Committee’s Dream Team “Grassroots” or are they Bandits?
The term, “China Dream" or the “Dream Team,"
has become a popular phrase on the Internet.
The Communist Party (CCP) Chairman, Xi Jinping,
spoke it when receiving the baton of the CCP.
Recently, the mouthpiece of the CCP and some overseas
Chinese media said the seven members of the Standing
Committee are a “Dream Team" with
“grassroots sentimentality,"
and they will be more pragmatic in setting policies and bringing new opportunities.
Let’s take a look at whether the “China Dream”
is getting closer.
On Dec. 6, the CCP’s mouthpiece, People’s Daily, published
an article full of praise for the CCP’s new leadership from many Chinese media in China and overseas.
For example, among those listed were Hong Kong’s Ta Kung
Bao, Wen Hui Bao, Taiwan’s Wang Bao, America’s
World News, Japan’s Hua Qiao Bao, and Singapore’s
Lianhe Zaobao.
These overseas Chinese media are optimistic about
the “post-18th Congress era."
They generally consider the new generation of CCP
leadership as possessing grassroots sentimentality.
They started from the bottom, and thus, have a better
understanding of the plight of the people.
Wang Beiji, political commentator, pointed out that
these media’s arguments are absurd.
Wang Beiji: “Saying that Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang have
a grassroots sentimentality and are against corruption is only a cover.
Whether its Hu Jintao, Wen Jiabao, or Xi Jinping, there
are always the three unignorable words – Chinese Communist Party.
They first participated in this group and then to have some fun.
Wang believes that the new leaders all know the pressure
and crises China is facing.
They want to create a false impression.
Thus, people can hallucinate as if everything is going well.
Wang Beiji: “There’s no democracy, no rule of law,
and no human rights in this society.
How can you call it ‘grassroots’?
Xi Jinping and Li Keqiang are packaged as not being
against humanity.
This is only branding and a kind of strategy.
Now we must be alert to a wide variety of trumpeters
who beautify the CCP.”
Cai Guihua, one of the founders of the “Democracy Wall"
in Mainland, pointed out that ever since the establishment
of the CCP, those leaders have been a gang of bandits,
the lawless thugs.
They are now calling themselves “grassroots”
after seizing power.
One of the founders of the “Democracy Wall" Cai Guihua:
“They are simply not qualified to be grassroots.
They have always been incompatible with us grass-roots people.
They were born as a group of wicked guys.
They are the “China Robbers.”
They have stolen China’s political arena until now
and deployed deception every time.
All the sweet talk has turned into a tragedy in history.”
Cai Guihua claimed that these leaders have suffered before,
but (their suffering) is totally different from ordinary people’s suffering.
Cai Guihua: “Such as when people are suppressed
by the CCP, or Falun Gong are in jails and are not allowed
to have their belief, they did not fight for power,
but their suffering is beyond description.
These leaders suffered earlier.
That is nothing.
They suffer due to internal infighting for power.
If you triumph, you become the king; if you lose,
you are a thug.
You win, you enjoy life; you lose, you suffer.
According to reports, four out of the seven Standing
Committee members belong to the educated youth generation.
Xi Jinping was branded a counter-revolutionary at age 15.
Their youth life experience can impact their ruling,
and now it has also become a major focus of attention.
Wang Beiji believes that hardship in the past
does not necessarily result in kindness.
However, one cannot change by staying a part
of this political system.
Only by announcing withdrawl from the CCP and joining
people around the world in liquidating the Communist Party,
will you be considered as having a conscience and making
your suffering in the past worthwhile.
An article in Hong Kong’s Wen Hui Bao said
Communist China’s “Dream Team” has begun its important
schedule after taking over the baton and the China dream
is getting closer and closer.
Cai Guihua pointed out that as long as the CCP does not
completely exit history’s stage, people are only fooling themselves if they have high hopes for the new leadership.
