【新唐人2013年11月28日讯】互联网搜索引擎巨头“谷歌”总裁埃里克•施密特，自上周预言先进网路技术将在10年内终结网路审查后，日前他再次预言，社交媒体将会给中国带来自由开放。不过网路专家对此不表乐观，认为中国的所谓社交媒体几乎是“与世隔绝”，只有大陆网民在使用，而且审查极为严格。像“脸书”那些国际社会广泛使用的社交媒体，在中国是被禁止的，因此，网路自由对大陆网民来说可谓遥遥无期，除非“翻墙”，攻破防火长城。
据英国《路透社》报导，“谷歌”公司总裁埃里克•施密特11月25号发表讲话说，随着社交媒体在中国的崛起，越来越多的中国人上网，将导致中共政府最终无力终止这一个向自由开放前进的变化。但有网路专家认为，施密特对大陆互联网现状过于乐观，以致于忽略了中国严厉的网路审查，以及本土社交媒体的封闭性。
虽然中国是世界上网民数量最多的国家，但同样也是全球网路封锁最严厉的国家。目前国际使用最广泛的脸书、推特、YouTube、Foursquare等社交媒体平台，在中国无一例外的遭到了封锁。使得近6亿大陆网民只能使用中国本土的社交媒体。
中国社会活动家胡佳：“共产党绝对不会准许你有一块园地是自由的，是可以畅所欲言分享信息的。”
而舆论认为，中国大陆的社交媒体平台，基本上都是抄袭美国现成的社交网站模式而来。如﹕《新浪微博》又被称作中国版的“推特”，《人人网》的界面几乎和“脸书”一模一样，《优酷》视频模仿的更加彻底，连YouTube的名字都没有放过。因此民间又将中国本土社交媒体称为“超级模仿秀”。但人们都清楚的知道，无论再怎么模仿，拥有再多的用户，中国社交媒体也躲不过“单机游戏”的命运。网民们只能在一个被隔离的小圈子里交流，无法倾听“墙”外自由的声音。
《动态网》总裁比尔夏：“我看到现在在中国国内的话，还是远远不能达到网路上的应有的言论自由的权利。在中国有互联网，互联网很发达，也有这些社交媒体，但是，它自己有自己的一整套技术，有这些网站，那这些网站的话，都是会受制于中共政府要求的做这些审查这些事情。”
施密特认为，随着中国版“推特”——微博的普及，加上即时通讯网站“微信”的兴起，当局的审查将会变得越来越困难。但持不同观点者认为，虽然《新浪微博》和“微信”都拥有超过3亿的用户，但是中共当局的网路审查，反而随着使用者的增加，而变得越加严厉。
《新浪微博》在国内外发生多次重大事件中，都进行了极其严厉的审查，使用手段包括敏感词屏蔽、过滤、删贴、封号、禁止评论等等。据《新浪》内部数据显示，审查员每天要处理300万条微博，凡是涉及政治、异见人士、贪污丑闻、示威等内容的帖文和照片，都要迅速删除。仅今年11月，《新浪微博》就处置了10万个所谓的“违规账号”。
而《腾讯》研发的“微信”，可以被全方位监控，成为了中共国保的监控利器。
胡佳：“因为微信首先是腾讯公司开发的，腾讯公司也开发过QQ，它的技术平台有很多相通之处，这些都给国家安全部门留有后门，就是国家安全或者是公安、国保这些，可以长驱直入，从后台去控制、去监控这些语音也罢、文字也罢、图片也罢。”
网路专家指出，要想追求真正的网路自由，目前只能通过“自由门”、“无界浏览”等翻墙软体，来突破中共的封锁，浏览海外网站，可以将更多的真实信息传播给身边的人。如果中国民众人人都能翻墙了解外面的真实世界，不再被墙内的谎言蒙蔽，那么中共制造的防火墙也就不攻自破，自由的时代将真正到来。

Google’s CEO – Is That a Sick Joke?
Google’s CEO Eric Schmidt made a bold prediction last week,
“Censorship around the world could end in a decade."
Recently, he predicted again, “The rise of social media in
China will lead to liberalization."
However, our analysts are not so optimistic.
The virtually “isolated" social media in China are only used
by the Chinese.
The CCP’s extremely draconian censorship has banned
internationally popular social media such as Facebook
in China.
Our expert believes internet freedom is still far off
for the Chinese user.
Currently, they can only achieve this with the help of
software to bypass the so called ,Great Firewall.
Reuters reported, the rise of social media in China will lead to
liberalization,
and as more and more people go online the Chinese government
will be powerless to halt the changes,
Eric Schmidt, Executive Chairman of Google Inc. said on 25 Nov.
An internet expert believes Schmidt is over optimistic
for he has ignored the rampant censorship and the vicious
clampdown on social media in China.
China has the world’s largest number of Internet users.
The Communist regime also has the most perverse and deep rooted
Internet blockade.
Social media such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and
Foursquare have all been blocked in China.
For the nearly 600 million Internet users in China,
only local social media are available.
Hu Jia, activist: “The Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
will not permit any freedom or means to share information."
It has been commented that China’s social media platforms
are basically mimicking the American models.
For instance, the Sina Weibo is also known as the Chinese
version of Twitter, Renren has similar interface as Facebook,
Youku is a Chinese copy of YouTube.
They have been referred to as, The Mocking Social Media.
However, regardless how similar they are to the Western
social network or how popular they are in China,
their fates are the same.
The users can’t avoid being isolated. The can only interchange
within the closed circle and never hear free voices outside of the
“walls".
Bill Xia, Dynamic Internet Technology CEO: “From what
I now see in China, the right to freedom of expression still has
a long way to go.
Internet is popular in China, same as social media.
But, they come with their own caveats which are
subject to the CCP’s snooping and spying tactics.
Schmidt said that the growing popularity of services like
Weibo — a microblogging service that is China’s version of
Twitter — and instant messaging site WeChat will make
censorship increasingly difficult.
However, differing opinions hold that with as many as over
300 million users for Weibo and WeChat, the CCP will only
tighten its censorship grip even harder with the expanding
number of users.
In major events both at home and abroad, Sina Weibo has
instigated abhorrent censorship and voyeurism by means of
keyword shield, filter, delete, and block.
Sina’s internal data has shown that three million blogs
are been processed daily.
Posts and photos related to politics, dissidents, corruption
scandals, and demonstrations are quickly intercepted and deleted.
In November this year, Sina Weibo shut down 100,000
so-called “illegal accounts."
WeChat developed by Tencent is monitoring users 24/7
and has become the chief peeping-tom for the CCP’s national security.
Hu Jia: “Tencent developed WeChat and QQ.
Their peeping-tom technological platforms have a lot in common.
It provides a backdoor for the state security to infiltrate.
Police and national security control directly from behind
and eavesdrop on all of the messages recordings, text, and images."
Internet expert points out: right now only freeGate
and Ultrasurf will break though the CCP’s Internet blockade
and allow browsing of overseas websites.
When all of the Chinese people are able to bypass the firewalls,
receive honest information, and are no longer deceived by the lies,
the firewalls will collapse, and the true freedom will come.
