Huang Qifan, Li Zhuang Confronts Over Indecent Video
During the National People’s Congress and Chinese
People’s Political Consultative Congress meeting,
the case of indecent videos was brought to attention.
On March 4, Chongqing Mayor Huang Qifan expressed
to the media that all the officials involved in the case
of the indecent video have all been investigated and
sacked from their positions.
No other officials are involved with the case anymore.
However, former Beijing lawyer
Li Zhuang commented on Weibo.
They said that according to what he knows, there
are more similar videos which have not been exposed.
The videos that have been exposed are
far from being investigated thoroughly.
He says he told the owner of the videos to wait
to release these videos until the ones already
released have been investigated thoroughly.
It is hard to know who is telling the truth right now.
However, mainland netizens do not seem to
have faith in the sincerity of Chongqing officials.
Many netizens are urging the video owner to release the
identity of any other officials involved as soon as possible.

will not be able to attend the ceremony on March 8th.
Woeser has emerged as a prominent Mainland activist,
speaking out publicly about human rights for Tibetans.
She used internet social media platforms to give
a voice to millions of Tibetans who are unable
