【新唐人2014年01月20日讯】数百人联署 要求释放伊力哈木
北京知名维族学者伊力哈木.土赫提，1月15号被警方带走后，至今没有消息，一批中国学者17号在网上发出联署呼吁，要求当局立即释放伊力哈木。截至19号晚间，签名人数已达到750多人。
这份由大陆作家，民族问题专家王力雄起草的联署信说，伊力哈木反对新疆独立与任何暴力行为，积极推动维吾尔族和汉族之间的友好沟通，被中国思想学术界视为维吾尔族和汉族之间弥足珍贵的桥梁人物，被新疆人视为有勇气的民族代言人。
联署信还要求中共当局保证伊力哈木的人身权利，允许伊力哈木本人和家人委托的律师介入案件，并依法会见当事人，解除对他家人的非法人身限制。
“新公民运动”案律师 将抵制庭审
许志永、丁家喜、赵常青等中国八名被控“聚众扰乱公共场所秩序”罪的公民，将在1月22号到24号被密集开庭审理。他们因为在北京参加要求官员公示财产等“新公民运动” 活动被逮捕。
据《美国之音》报导，许志永的律师张庆方1月19号表示，鉴于这个案子在管辖上存在明显的违法，代理律师们打算抵制这次庭审。
张庆方表示，律师们认为这次庭审严重违法，本来是同一个共同犯罪的案件，按照中共最高法院的规定，应该是作为一个案件，在一个法院审理。结果他们人为的拆分为几个案件，放在不同级别的两个法院，这个肯定违法。
张庆方说，具体抵制方式，将由每个律师根据具体情况定。
福建爆警民冲突 砖头满天
1月18号，福建莆田市三江口镇鳌山村村民，抗议政府强行填海建厂，遭到200武警镇压，双方爆发激烈冲突，至少13名村民受伤，7人被捕。
据《自由亚洲电台》报导，当地村民表示，武警用电棍殴打村民，村民则以砖头还击，现场砖块、石头满天飞，但最终村民不敌，许多人被打得头破血流，场面惨不忍睹。
据报导，鳌山是一个小渔村，村民靠海为生。当地政府要建港口发展，宣布要征收村民赖以生存的土地滩涂，但每人只补助4000元。去年9月，数百村民两次齐聚镇政府讨说法，都被镇压。

Hundreds of On-line Petition Request Release of Ilham
Beijing renowned Uyghur scholar Ilham Tohti has been missing
since the police arrested him on January 15.
A group of Chinese academics sent a online petition on the 17th
demanding the release of Ilham.
As of the evening of the 19th, more than 750 have endorsed
this online petition.
Chinese writer and expert in ethnic issue Wang Lixiong drafted
the petition letter stating that Ilham has been regarded as a
precious academic bridge between the Uyghur and the Han,
and a courageous spokesperson of ethnic by the Xinjiang people
for his position to oppose Xinjiang independence and any act of
violence, and his involvement in promoting friendly
communication between the Uyghurs and the Hans.
The Joint letter requested the Communist authorities to ensure
Ilham’s personal rights, allow appointed attorney commissioned
by Ilham himselve and his families.
Attorneys of “New Citizen Movement" Case Will Boycott Trial
Trial involving eight Chinese citizens such as Xu Zhiyong,
Ding Jiaxi, Zhao Changqing and so forth on charges of
“crime of assembling a crowd to disturb order at public places"
will take place on January 22 till 24.
They were arrested for involving in the “new citizens’ movement"
demanding officials to publicize personal asset.
Voice of America reported that Xu Zhiyong’s lawyer
Zhang Qingfang has indicated on January 19 that given the
obvious violation of the jurisdiction,
the defense attorneys have decided to boycott the trial.
Zhang Qingfang said that the lawyers believe the court is
suspected of jurisdiction violation because they were all arrested
for the same case, which should be tried in the same court
according to the provision of the Supreme Court.
However, this case has now been artificially split into several
cases and tried on two courts at different levels,
this is definitely illegal.
Zhang Qingfang said the specific manner of boycott will be
determined depending on the circumstances of each lawyer.
Clashes Occur in Fujian
January 18, villagers of Putian City, Fujian protested the
forced reclamation for plant construction.
Clashes occurred with 200 armed police, resulting in 13 villagers
wounded and seven arrested.
Radio Free Asia reported that according to local villagers,
the police hit the villagers with electric batons,
villagers returned with bricks and rocks.
The villagers eventually lost and many were severely beaten.
According to the report, this is a small fishing village.
In the name of port development, local government announced
to levy the beach which the villagers rely their livelihood upon.
The subsidy was only 4,000 yuan.
In last September, the villagers have been suppressed twice
during their grievance visit to the local government.
