【新唐人2016年06月02日讯】六四当年发生一周后，据说当时还是美国华盛顿大学学生的菲利普·摩根，被天安门广场上年轻人的鲜血刺痛了双眼，写下了一首《广场上的鲜血》，为中国的自由发声。
六四27周年纪念日即将到来，回忆1989年，包括中、港、台三地的著名歌手，甚至不少外国人都曾唱过至今听来仍让人热泪盈眶的歌曲，过去的27年间，也陆续有不少明星大腕或委婉或直接的为天安门广场上的勇士们歌唱。
在六四发生一周后，美国人菲利普•摩根（Phillip Morgan）创作歌曲《广场上的鲜血》，呼吁人们了解北京天安门上发生的一切。
歌词讲述了六四事件的整个过程，从学生广场静坐呼吁自由，再到当局血洗广场，让对政府满怀着信任与希望的学生，血溅街头，将天安门广场染红。
