【新唐人北京时间2018年11月15日讯】周四（11月15日），川普总统连发多篇推文，强烈谴责特别检察官穆勒（Robert Mueller）领导的通俄门调查，并嘲笑找不到任何川普选战勾结证据的穆勒团队已经“完全疯了”。
周四早上，川普严词抨击中期选举后再度成为关注焦点的通俄门调查，并嘲讽穆勒团队已陷入疯狂状态。
“穆勒调查的内部运作一团糟。他们没有发现任何勾结，并且完全疯了。他们冲人们尖叫、大喊，可怕地威胁人们说出他们想要的回答。”
川普接着谴责，穆勒调查团是美国的耻辱，他们不在乎毁掉多少生命。这些人因输掉了大选而恼怒，其中包括立场高度对抗的穆勒——他为奥巴马工作了8年。他们对另一方（民主党及希拉里）的所有不良行为和罪行甚至连看都不看，“这是美国历史上独一无二的完完全全的猎巫行动！”

在之后发表的两篇推文中，川普表示，总有一天，高校人员会研究穆勒和“他那帮民主党恶棍”都做了哪些毁人的事情。
川普质疑，穆勒为何要保护“骗子希拉里”（Crooked Hillary）、前联邦调查局（FBI）局长科米（James Comey）、前FBI副局长麦凯布（Andrew McCabe）等人？他的答案是，唯一的“勾结”就是民主党人与俄罗斯等国的勾结。
川普接着质问：为何FBI不从民主党全国委员会（DNC）拿走服务器？而且至今都没有拿到手。再查证一下带有偏见的脸书（Facebook）、谷歌（Google）和推特（Twitter）是如何支持民主党人的，“那才是真正的勾结！”

11月7日，司法部长塞申斯（Jeff Sessions）应川普的要求辞职。川普随后任命塞申斯的幕僚长惠特克（Matthew Whitaker）出任代理司法部长，司法部同一天也宣布，由惠特克接替副部长罗森斯坦（Rod Rosenstein）监督穆勒调查。
川普的批评者随即开足马力猛攻川普和惠特克，声称川普这项任命的真正目的在于试图控制穆勒调查。一向与 川普不睦的共和党参议员弗莱克（Jeff Flake）甚至提议参议院立法保护穆勒免遭解雇，但被参议院多数党领袖麦康奈尔（Mitch McConnell）驳回。
