A flag flies at half mast in Manila, two days after an 11-hour hostage-taking left eight tourists from Hong Kong dead.

The bus at the center of the dramatic siege remains on location, attracting curious onlookers.
这出戏剧性挟持事件的中心角色─巴士，仍然位于现场，吸引了许多好奇的旁观者。
Local Filipino residents share the concerns of many Hong Kong residents, who criticize the slow and seemingly disorganized way in which police tried to storm the bus as the gunman fired shots inside.
香港民众批评警方，当枪手在巴士内开枪时，以缓慢又杂乱无章的方式冲进巴士。当地菲律宾居民也和许多香港民众有相同的质疑。
[Miss Oh, Sympathizer]:
“In my opinion, they [the police] are inefficient. The police have always been."

On Tuesday, the Philippine National Police admitted it had bungled the hostage siege, blaming inadequate training and leadership for the outcome, which left many upset.
星期二，菲律宾警方承认他们搞砸了这场人质挟持案，并归咎是因不当的训练与领导导致的结果，造成许多混乱。
[Miss Oh, Sympathizer]:
“Definitely I’m unhappy. From the night of the incident when I woke at three in the morning, I kept thinking about it. I saw that a few were hurt by hammers and it’s a terrible mistake."
[欧小姐，同情者]：
“我肯定是不高兴的。意外发生的那晚，我凌晨三点就醒了，从那时起我就一直在想这件事。我看见一些人被锤子弄伤了，这真是一个可怕的错误。”
Caskets holding the hostage victims left Manila on Wednesday, bound for Hong Kong.
装着受害人质的棺木，星期三时离开马尼拉，返回香港。
