【新唐人2012年3月28日讯】王立军事件影响，薄熙来突然被免去重庆市委书记职务，引起国内外舆论的关注，在民间和互联网上，各种消息不断传出，中共喉舌《人民日报》旗下的《环球时报》26号发表社论，把海内外传言升高到“政治阴谋”，指传言是危害党国的“病毒”，希望全民能防毒、杀毒。而评论人士分析，所谓的谣言，是因为中国政治形态不透明、不开放造成的。
薄熙来被免职后，大陆社会及海外发出许多传言，包括：江系的中央政法委书记周永康反对党内严格处理薄熙来。不久后，中央军委调整武警指挥权归属，武警将不再受政法委协调，中央军委也不再受理政法委以维稳名义的调兵申请。而最近“中南海传出枪声”，北京长安街出现特警车辆及防暴车，以及军方出动武装直升机在北京上空警戒等等传言，似乎在暗示中共高层严防军警对干。
针对种种传言，《环球时报》在题为《坚守社会对谣言的抵御防线》的社评中，呼吁社会大众应有所警觉，不可对所谓的谣言，“听之任之传播”，而“中国不应是谣言共和国”。
社评还提到：增强整个中国社会的透明度是中国改革最复杂的领域之一。而这些谣言“实际要的是在现行政治框架外，营造一个公众认知的另一个世界，不断腐蚀现行体制内的权威认同，甚至有意让谣言成为脱离现行体制控制的‘新政治轴心’”。
网络作家彭定鼎表示，由于当局的不透明，什么离奇事都可能发生，舆论对高层进行各种传言也是很正常的现象。
彭定鼎：“他这是正常的，因为我们没有这个新闻自由、我们没有这个言论自由，那么必然有传言，这是一个再正常不过的情况了，而且王立军这样的事件是‘大片’，是美国大片的编剧都编不出来的，这个时候有传言是再正常不过了，现在要想消除传言很简单，告诉大家真相，但这个中共不会这样做的。”
中国艺术研究院学者吴祚来也表示，因为官方信息不透明，谁也不知道真相到底是什么，所以传言主要是一些猜测和焦虑不安。
吴祚来：“所以现在问题是要真正减少这种谣言，就是要政治更加公开透明，否则对这个事情，即使发布他的信息，一方面领导人都能够公开财产，如果都是通过公开的竞争，中国领导人这样他背后的一些问题就不会像现在这么、这个泛滥，所以根本问题还是一个中国要进行一个政治体制改革，进行信息更加公开透明吧，也没有别的办法了。”
彭定鼎认为，政治开放了实际上就没有谣言了。
Rumors Everywhere–A Political Conspiracy?
Due to the Wang Lijun incident, Bo Xilai, the Chongqing
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Secretary
was removed from office, causing rumors to circulate
widely among the general public and on the internet.
People’s Daily, the CCP’s media mouthpiece,and the
Global Times published articles on March 26,
accusing these rumors as being a “political conspiracy.”
The articles called the rumors a “virus” that damages
the Party and the country,
urging the general public to guard against and
eliminate such rumors.
However, analysts believe the rumors result from
a lack of transparency in Chinese politics.
Many rumors started circulating
after Bo Xilai was removed from office.
Rumors said: “Zhou Yongkang, the Politics and Law
Committee Secretary was against punishing Bo Xilai.”
“The central Military Committee will soon restructure
the armed police, to no longer accept orders from the Politics and Law Committee.”
“Recently, ‘Gunshots were heard within Zhongnanhai’,
Beijing’s Chang’an Street was guarded by armed police
and anti-riot squads, and a military helicopter was
doing surveillance in Beijing.”
“It seems the CCP’s high level members are guarding
against a conflict between the military and the police.”
The Global Times published an article titled:
“Persistently Guard Against Rumors”,
urging the general public to stay on alert
and not listen to or spread such rumors.
The Global Times said, the increasing transparency of
Chinese society is the most complex part of China’s reform.
The rumours “are actually trying to create a public perception
of another world outside the current political framework,
and constantly corrode the authority of the current system,
to create a ‘new political axis’ outside the system’s control.”
Peng Dingding, an online author, expresses that
due to the CCP regime’s lack of transparency,
many strange things can happen, and it’s very normal
for rumors to spread regarding the central authorities.
Peng Dingding: “This is very normal, because
we don’t have press freedom and freedom of speech
so rumors are a natural result, it’s a very natural situation.”
“The Wang Lijun incident is a huge production, bigger than
anything Hollywood can make, so rumors are very natural.”
“It’s very easy to eliminate the rumors and tell everyone
the truth, but this is something that the CCP cannot do.”
Wu Zuolai, a scholar at the Chinese Academy of Arts says,
the official information is not transparent, no one knows
the truth, and the rumors are mainly some speculations
and caused by public anxiety.
Wu Zuolai: “To really reduce these rumors, politics must be
more transparent and to provide the related information.”
“If Chinese officials can publicly reveal their assets
and compete openly, they will not have these rumor issues.”
“The fundamental need is a reform in the political system,
to increase transparency—there is no other way.”
Wu Zuolai believes that with transparent and
open politics there will not be any public rumors.
