It seems Bo’s case will go to trial early;
the prison sentences of Bo, Gu and Wang already prepared.
Wang Lijun and Bo Xilai’s cases, triggering the political
crisis of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) have not been publicized by CCP officials.
In the last two days, some overseas media reported the CCP
Central Committee stated how to deal with Bo Xilai’s case.
It may advance to June or July.
The prison terms for Bo and Wang could be 16 years to life
imprisonment with Gu possibly sentenced to death.
According to the Boxun network from informed sources,
Bo and Gu’s crimes are very serious.
So along with voices from CCP Central Committee requiring
the case is dealt with according to law,
opinions from CCP top officials are that
the matter be brought forward from August to June or July.
Then the case will be handed over to the judiciary and
taken through the judicial process.
The news said that, if judged by the content of the crime,
both Bo and Gu would be sentenced to death.
However, Bo may not be sentenced to death; it’s most likely
that he will get prison terms from 16 years to life.
The news said that Wang mainly committed three crimes:
treason, serious corruption and torture.
The outcome of his case may be at about the same time
as Bo and Gu’s. But it may not be publicized at the same time.
Wang may not be sentenced to death. He will most likely
receive prison terms from 16 years to life imprisonment.
But Hong Kong’s South China Morning Post quoted an insider
saying that Wang will be judged with “treason next month, and may face the death penalty.
Sources said the trial will be held in Chongqing and
Wang’s legal team has been formed.
British media: CCP top officials’s fear
Since Bo Xilai’s case started, the CCP’s infighting and its
corruption scandals are a hot topic of global public opinion.
British media commented on May 21 it analyzed the CCP top
officials fears caused by Bo’s case.
According to the report by “BBC" Chinese network,
the comment was published in the “International Herald Tribune”, entitled “CCP top officials’ fear.”
The article said the power of CCP is not based on wealth,
but control over all the wealth of China.
The article quoted a legend of “Brezhnev", in which he took
his mother who had suffered from poverty to visit his home
and showed her his collections of a large number of foreign
luxury cars, palatial villas and fine cuisine.
Then he asked his mother what she thought.
His mother replied: “Everything is very good, but what to do
in case the Bolshevik comes back?"
The article said that the CCP leaders now are not only
“controlling” the wealth of China, but also “owning” it.
The article analyzed: Why owning wealth is so important
to the CCP leaders?
Why do so many CCP leaders send their children to study
abroad?
There is only one definite answer;
it is that they have no confidence in China’s future.
The article believes that Bo’s case has not only showed up
the intense struggle of CCP top officials,
but also exposed the corruption of Bo’s family and
attracted the public concerns about the widespread corruption of CCP top officials.
And the exposure of corruption of CCP elites makes CCP top
officials feel the fear “What to do if Bolshevik comes back.”
The article also said there are about 500 cases of protests
daily in various places in China, against corrupt officials.
Although most of the protests are stopped, the fact that
corrupt officials plunder national resources and
the people’s hard-earned money will ultimately make all citizens awaken to
the levels of corruption have reached the ruling classes.
