Author of ‘Exposé—Wang Lijun’ Says Truth Not Revealed

The end of 2011, Southern Weekly published a
50,000-word edition ‘Exposé—Wang Lijun’,
which took 2 years to finish and sold out
within several days.
The story exposed how Bo Xiliai and Wang Lijun’s
infamous ‘crime-fighting’ campaign relied on brutal torture.
Shi Feike, one of the authors, says the truth of
the Wang Lijun incident has not been fully revealed.

The 8-article collection revealed details of former Chongqing
police chief Wang Lijun’s promotion, his governing of police,
‘crime-fighting’ and involvement in Gu Kailai’s murder case,
while touching on what really caused the Wang incident.

On February 17, Mainland China’s Law and Life magazine
reported on the interview with Shi Feike.
The report said that, since the Li Zhuang case in late 2009,
Shi had constantly criticized Wang online and in early 2010,
him and his team had begun to investigate Wang.

Wang had tried to carry out special measures
against the investigation,
yet Shi’s team never received his lawsuit
—perhaps Wang had not had enough time.

Shi emphasizes that with Wang’s case, apart from
the rumors, the truth has not been fully revealed.
For example, within three years, how many people
have been illegally sentenced to labor camps?
How many cases of forced confessions have there been
and how many innocent people still remain imprisoned?
Where have the large amounts of anti-corruption funds gone?

Shi says, rumors about Wang Lijun show a story
that is full of blood and tears.

[Pu Zhiqiang, Human Rights Lawyer]:
“It’s superficial; the real problem certainly hasn’t been shown
and Wang’s current sentence, I think, is a political sentence,
and not from a real legal trial.”

Last September, a Sichuan court charged Wang with
bending the law, defection, and abuse of power and bribery,
sentencing him to 15 years in jail.

Wang Zhiyuan, the head of World Organization to Investigate
the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) says,
Wang’s sentence does not touch on his criminal involvement
in the organ harvesting of live Falun Gong practitioners.
According to WOIPFG’s investigation, Chen Rongshan,
a former transplant doctor at the 205 Hospital in Jinzhou
who had worked with Wang many times, accidentally leaked
that Falun Gong practitioners’ organs had been forcibly taken.

After Wang’s trial, NTD Senior China Analyst Heng He said,
authorities avoided and didn’t mention Wang’s major crimes.

[Heng He]: “Firstly, Wang was in charge of the
On-Site Psychology Research Centre in Jinzhou
which has several-thousand records of
cases of organ transplants.
They are suspected to be related to the
live organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners.
Secondly, Wang is suspected to have been involved in using
brutal torture to get confessions during his ‘anti-corruption’
campaign in Chongqing, with some being tortured to death
—causing many to be wrongfully sentenced.
Thirdly, witnesses have immerged who allegedly say that

Wang had raped numerous members in the special female
police team he had set up.
Any one of these three crimes is more severe than the current
ones Wang is up for, but these have not been mentioned yet.”

Shi Feike says Wang’s case has never been fully reported,
neither has it been reported on time.
During Wang’s term, media did not dare to publish
negative reports on him.
After Wang’s downfall, reporting on him is still forbidden,
so key areas are still avoided and censored.

Ren Baiming, the Current Affairs Commentator said
in an interview with NTD, that in the cases of Wang and Bo,
the real key point is the crime of live organ harvesting
of Falun Gong practitioners.
Once this crime—which goes far below
humanity’s bottom-line—is exposed,
it will shake the legitimacy and foundation
of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP);
thus the CCP are desperately covering it up.

[Ren Baiming]: “So, the CCP’s tenacious protective and
conservative forces appeared, and under such circumstances,
there will be internal struggles and a process of collapse.

This process completely surrounds issues of power,
darkness, exposure and covering things up.”

Southern Weekly’s 8-article collection said that Wang was
claimed to be a forensic expert with numerous qualifications
which were half-fake—including PhD; EMBA; and of being
a professor of 29 universities, a PhD tutor and a researcher.
It also said Wang was in charge of more than 100 patents
and many international academy organizations.
Wang has become known for the two things he ‘cannot close’
—his mouth, and the corpses he operated on.
