A carriage pulled by a robotic horse is just one of the futuristic manifestations at Taiwan’s international robot fair.
一辆由机器马拉的马车，只是台湾国际机器人展上，表现未来的形式之一。
The fair runs from Tuesday to Friday and exhibitors have come from around the world.
展览从星期二至星期五，参展商来自世界各地。
Between the exhibition show, competitions, and various workshops, 296 exhibitors showcased their latest robotic technologies, many built to provide entertainment and at-home care.
在展览、比赛，及各种研讨会期间，296个参展商展示了他们最新的机器人技术，很多是为了提供娱乐及居家照顾而发展的。
This stuffed bear can catch a ball flying towards it.
这只绒毛熊可以接住飞向它的球。
It uses cameras to track the ball’s 3D image at high speeds.
它用摄像机以高速追踪球的立体图像。
[Yu Hung-hsiu, Industrial Technology Research Inst.]:
“It only takes half a second for the ball to reach the robot, and therefore the robot must complete all the calculations and judgements within 0.1 second, this includes a 3D map of the ball’s location, a prediction of where the ball might be falling, then the robot is instructed to move to the target location to catch the ball. All of the four actions need to be done within that 0.1 second."
工研院游宏修说：“球到达机器人只要半秒时间，因此机器人必须在0.1秒内完成所有计算及判断，包含球位置的立体地图，预测球可能落下的位置，然后机器人会被指示，移动到目标位置接球。所有4个动作必须在0.1秒内完成。”
Another application of advanced hand-eye coordination is an interactive robot that can play tic-tac-toe with people.
另一项先进的眼手协调配合应用，是一个互动的机器人，可以跟人玩井字游戏。
[Yu Hung-hsiu, Industrial Technology Research Inst.]:
“This demonsrates the hand-eye coordination of the robot, this ability is important to humans, and with this ability, there are a lot more things robots can do, such as serving tea, picking up the newspaper, and lifting heavy items."
工研院游宏修说：“展出眼手协调的机器人，这种能力对人类很重要，拥有这种能力，机器人有更多事可做，如泡茶、收报纸和抬重物。”
The four-day robot fair also showcased robots that dance, clean and play piano.
为期四天的展会，也展示机器人会舞蹈、清洁和弹钢琴。
