广东东莞“裕元鞋厂”大罢工目前进入第三周，事件已经引起国际关注。4月24号，多个国家和地区的劳工团体发起声援活动，呼吁“裕元鞋厂”所属的台湾“宝成集团”与国际品牌商回应罢工诉求，并要求中共政府停止暴力镇压，释放被捕工人。
据报导，目前展开声援行动的劳工和社运团体多达数十家，分别位于台湾、香港、澳洲和美国。
曹顺利获国际人权奖最终提名
中国已故著名维权人士曹顺利，4月23号，被列为2014年“马丁∙恩纳尔斯人权捍卫者奖”三位最终候选人之一，这个奖项素有“诺贝尔人权奖”之称，评委包括国际特赦、人权观察等十大国际人权组织。主要为表彰那些面对巨大个人风险仍致力于人权事业的维权人士。
评委会将从三位最终候选人中选出2014年奖项得主，颁奖仪式将于10月7号在瑞士日内瓦举行。
浙江整治基督教堂行动升级
浙江省持续半个多月的整治基督教堂行动，4月24号升级，多个教堂突然被警察包围。
舟山市“白泉基督教堂”的十字架，当天清晨6点被数百名武警突击拆除，教堂的一名负责人被带走。
平阳县一间即将竣工的教堂，也在同一天被夷为平地，阻止者还遭到警方暴力殴打。
永嘉县“三江教堂”外，仍然有四千教徒聚集，防止教堂被强拆。
饮用水源头建火葬场 村民抗议遭镇压
广西陆川县政府准备在当地生活用水的源头修建火葬场，遭到村民的强烈反对，4月23号，温泉镇四良村的近2000村民，举行抗议游行，遭到数百警察镇压，多人被打伤，13人被抓捕。

International Support For Yue Yuen Shoe Factory Strike
The Dongguan Yue Yuen Shoe Factory strike has continued
for three weeks, attracting international attention.
On April 24, several labor groups in different countries and
areas called the head office, Taiwan Pou Chen Group to say
Yue Yuan shoe factory had to respond to strikers’ demands.
They also requested that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)
stop the violent crackdown and release detained workers.
According to reports, many activist groups from Taiwan,
Hong Kong, Australia and the U.S. have shown solidarity.
Cao Shunli Finally Nominated For International Human
Rights Award
On April 23, the late renowned Chinese activist Cao Shunli
was selected as one of the three Final Nominees for the
2014 Martin Ennals Award.
This award is known as the Nobel Prize for Human Rights.
The judges come from ten international human rights
organizations such as Amnesty International and Human
Rights Watch.
This award mainly cites those activists who have devoted
themselves to the cause of human rights even when facing
great personal risk.
The jury will select an award winner from three finalists in
2014 and the awards ceremony will be held on October 7
in Geneva.
Zhejiang Police Escalate Reprisals on Christian Church.
The two week remediation of Christian Churches reversed
on April 24 and several were suddenly surrounded by police.
Hundreds of armed assault police demolished the cross of
Zhoushan Baiquan Christian Church at 6am and took the
church director away.
One church in Pingyang County, which was nearly built was
burned to the ground. The curator was also beaten by police.
There are still four thousand Catholics gathered at Yongjia
County Sanjiang Chruch to prevent its forced demolishion.
Villagers’ Protest at Crematorium Construction Stopped.
Guangxi Lu Chuan County’s plans to build a local crematorium
at the living water source were strongly opposed by locals.
On April 23, nearly 2,000 villagers in Siliang village marched
to protest and were repressed by hundreds of police.
Some protestors were injured, 13 people were arrested.
